Text is written in a genuine handwriting hand, letter by letter, following the shape of each character the way a marker actually lays ink down — not a font fading in. Artwork comes from a built-in library of drawn characters with faces, posture and clothing, and colour washes in behind the line art once the outline is done. A hand with your choice of skin tone holds the pen, its forearm running off the frame, with pen-on-board scratching synced to the drawing.

A virtual camera pushes in on whatever is being drawn and pulls back to reveal the finished board, so a video reads as a filmed performance rather than a slideshow of static boards. Between scenes a hand sweeps an eraser across the board instead of cutting. And the timing is measured, not guessed: every scene is cut against the actual narration audio, word by word, so the drawing and the voice stay locked together from the first second to the last.

Do I need to know how to draw or animate?+

No. Type a topic and the AI plans every board, writes the narration and draws the whole video. Templates give you one-tap starting points, and everything stays editable if you want to fine-tune.

Can it really draw my logo?+

Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP of your logo or diagram and it is traced into pen strokes — you see a preview of exactly what will be drawn, then the hand draws it in your intro, outro or both. The upload itself is never stored, and tracing is free.

Which languages work?+

Narration works in 100+ languages, and the board WRITES native scripts correctly — including Urdu in Nastaliq style, Hindi, Arabic, Bengali and Pakistani regional languages. Every script is drawn letter by letter the same way English is, not faded in. Captions follow the narration language.

What does it cost?+

Videos are 30 credits per minute at 720p (15 credits per 30 seconds), ×1.2 at 1080p, and an optional talking presenter adds 15 credits per minute. Credits are shared across all VidGen studios and 1 credit ≈ Rs. 1. Failed generations are refunded automatically.

What is storyboard review?+

An optional two-step flow. The storyboard fee (20 credits/min) plans every scene for you to review and edit — drag elements, rewrite text, swap icons, redraw scenes with AI for 2 credits each. The render fee (10 credits/min plus quality extras) is only charged when you approve. The total equals the one-click price.

How long can a whiteboard video be?+

From 15 seconds up to 60 full minutes in a single video — long enough for complete lessons and lectures. Long videos are planned scene by scene, so quality stays consistent throughout.

Can I add a talking presenter?+

Yes — pick any avatar in your account and it appears as a talking head in a corner bubble or a split-screen “teacher at the board” layout, lip-synced to the narration, for +15 credits per minute.

Is there a vertical format for Shorts and Reels?+
