• Keep you signed in to your VidGen account and remember your workspace, theme and language preferences;
• Make sure the Service works reliably across pages and devices, and to load it quickly;
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access — for example by detecting unusual sign-in attempts;
• Understand how our Service is used in aggregate, so we can improve features, fix bugs and prioritise development;
• Process payments and handle billing securely with our payment partners;
• Show you relevant content and (only where you have consented) marketing or advertising material.

Strictly necessary. Required for the Service to function. They enable core features such as sign-in, security, billing, and content delivery. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies because the Service will not work without them.

Functional. Remember your preferences (theme, language, sidebar layout, recently used voices and avatars) so you don’t have to re-enter them. Disabling these reduces the quality of your experience.

Performance and analytics. Help us understand which features are used, where errors occur, and how the Service performs. We use this information in aggregate to improve the product. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before placing analytics cookies.

Marketing. Used (only with your consent, where applicable law requires it) to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and to show relevant content on third-party platforms.

Some cookies are set by third-party services we rely on — for example payment processors (to handle card transactions securely), content delivery networks (to load assets quickly), and analytics providers (to understand usage). These third parties act as our processors and are bound by contractual obligations restricting use of the data.
